The incident that took place in Guwahati reminds us of an old habit ..... we love to be by standers and get freely entertained. The question is obvious that how can people be allowed to run amok in a civilized society? or even for that matter, how quick can these perpetrators be brought to justice? .... However, I have another basic question .... for how long will the society carry on accepting its members to be just by standers and get free entertainment that not only excites the male chauvinism but also gives a titillating pleasure in seeing a women being harrowed by fellow males?
